Next time someone asks me what I do for work I’m telling them I do pyrotechnics for cricket games.
How hard is a cricket ball? Batter wears a ton of protective gear, but can still hit it pretty far, meanwhile the players can catch barehanded. Is it like a tennis ball maybe? I could see that hurting if it hit you when thrown full speed but they are easy to catch barehanded.
I was actually in the crowd! There was another unbelievable catch in this game too.
