Was the one on the left maybe a pre order or special edition? I got it day one on the Wii (or Wii U?) and pretty sure the one on the right is what it had but I’m assuming you’re saying that’s the downgrade and I’d agree.

Never got to play it, and can’t now since PS5 isn’t backward compatible. I guess I could get it for Xbox One but meh. There’s a remake coming out next year, probably going to pick it up.

i bought this game on release having no idea what is was. i actually enjoyed the game and still have the disc + case. one of the few times the gamestop workers convinced me to buy a game i wasn’t looking at.

This doesn’t seem like a huge change to me. But I’ve never really understood the Japanese fascination with just seeing underwear, in and of itself.

Right one is probably the prude American Cover.
They both suck. The Japanese cover is slightly worse, imo, because the facial expression doesn’t really match the action. I just don’t get that half-wink. Who is she even looking at? It’s not us and it’s not the zombie she’s about to attack either. It’s so poorly done. The US cover isn’t that far behind. Juliet seems sort of copy/pasted onto the background and is too close to the lockers. It lacks dimensionality and comes off as feeling flat.
EDIT: To be clear, I am a huge fan of the game. Probably why the covers bother me so much.
