Amazing. I bought a Mavic Air several years ago and used it all of 10 times and the one time it lost GPS signal it went flying into a condo without my commands to tell it to do so and I’m scared of drones for that reason. This makes it look easy and wonder if something sucks about my drone lol.

I really like the circles at the top and at the end to help viewers get their bearings. Incredibly well shot.

I have been thinking about building an FPV drone for a while, but all of the restrictions that Transport Canada puts on drones really makes it seem not worth the hassle. There’s no way you can get footage like this while following the rules they set out.

Speaking of which, you may want to edit your video to remove the landing footage. It doesn’t look like you have a spotter keeping your drone within line of sight. A video like this is probably going to get a lot of views and you don’t want to make it easy for the Gov’t to fine you.

That was so cool, thanks for sharing. Man I really want a drone now. I’m also in BC, where was that?

    Very cool footage!

I have an Air 2S and it’s fun af. Used it to blow leaves out of my gutters and it actually worked pretty well.

That…. was spectacular! Thank you for a really interesting view of ravine avalanche dynamics! That was a perfect alignment of skill, equipment and good luck! Well done mate!

Even without the avalanche, that was an amazing video. Watching the entire thing, fullscreen @ 1440.

    Well done!

I’ve seen lots of drone footage, but that was amazing.

How did you time the avalanche, did you have radio communications with whatever team was setting off the charge/shot?

This is amazing but man the music is entirely unnecessary. I watched with the sound of after I realized the audio was edited.

Man I’ve seen a LOT of drone footage and shot even more. It’s easy to get tired of it. But I sat and watched this the whole way through with awe in my eyes like it was the first time ever watching aerial video again. Good damn job man! Some of those seemingly blind ascends near the top of the mountain were terrifying. You clear trees like you’ve flown the route 100 times.
