From Fred Savage: "The rest of the movie had already been shot, all that was left were the parts with the boy and his grandpa. it was an all-star cast, but there was only one person this 10 year-old WWF superfan wanted to meet. He made a surprise visit to set one day and he was gentle and kind and charming and funny and answered every question I had. He sent me a Christmas card every year until he passed away. It was the one I looked forward to the most." View Reddit by norrisrw - View Source

Rick Monday is known in baseball history for two things: being the first player ever selected in an MLB amateur draft (1965), and rescuing the American flag from being burned at Dodger Stadium, as shown above. It was the bottom of the 4th Inning, and the Dodgers were just about to step up to bat. Suddenly, a father and son ran out onto the field with an American flag and a can of charcoal lighter fluid. It was at this time when Rick Monday swooped in and snatched up the flag before the two protesters could successfully burn it. Shortly afterward, ballpark security escorted the trespassers off the field. According to Ric...

(Reposting to correct link) TL/DR: On April 21-22, 1983, Brian May, Eddie Van Halen, and others jammed for the weekend, resulting in an EP, but Eric Clapton didn't like the song dedicated to him. Also in the jam session (but not photographed) was Queen's session keyboardist Fred Mandel. This jam session took place in Los Angeles, during some down time while recording some of the Queen album The Works (1984), the only album by the band (partially) recorded in the US. "Star Fleet" was a Japanese children's show broadcast in the UK, kind of like "Thunderbirds meets Power Rangers", and it was a favorite of Brian's son Jimmy at the time. The first track was a rock arrangement of the show's theme song. Track 2 was "Let Me Out", which was penned by Brian May years before. And Track 3 was "...
