Fun fact: resident evil 8 brings back the ataché case system and theres an ingame reward for *never* sorting your items in a single playthrough

Always drove me nuts. Thought this was the worst system ever. Not because it made you pick and choose but if you’re stuffing a case full of supplies why would you not fit 2 extra herb mixes in the space. It was a terrible and inefficient waste of space.

I used to play RE with my dad, he used to get so mad at me bc I’d spend ~3-5 minutes organizing my inventory so it looked nice…. And I was able to sneak in extra bombs

My best friend and I recently got Resi 4 VR and took turns playing while the other watched on the TV. We both had to collaborate on how EXCATLY to make the space make the most sense. The game could not continue unless all ammo was next to their type, and all the herbs were lined up in order of importance.

I’ve been playing Elden Ring and I think like this a lot during that game.

Also, almost all the story bosses have 2 phases, with a cut scene between phases. THAT would be a perfect time for me to change my gear, or use a flask. but nope – it’s my turn to sit around like a doofus

    Always loved this concept.

Playing any game and you’re supposed to be super immersed, being the character and being in the world and *PAUSE*

Enemies frozen in place, confused as hell as they watch the main antagonist dig through their ass for items, watch as they heal 76% of the damage they’ve done and then *UNPAUSE*

Just an asshole move. I notice the games that don’t do this — I see you. Every damn time I press pause it turns into “Is it *actually* paused or is that monster gonna get me?!”
