love these behind the scenes commentaries on shows. 20ish minutes for 5 parts is going to be great. Few things that stood out to me.
Fortiche went from 5 employees to 200-300 since arcane first started to now. I feel we never really talk about how small Fortiche really was originally and how the arcane/riot connection is a blow up for them.
Riot execs really putting stock in the “video game curse” for movie/tv adaptations.
Amazing BTS first stock footage of vi, jayce and basic dialogue.
Riot not wanting the project early on and not rushing it like most of hollywood does for their creative ideas.
Looking forward for next week, I imagine itll be more centered on writing of the story
It’s weird seeing the earlier concepts for the various characters. Silco changed a lot.
Mad respect to Christian. Everyone else deserves credit as well, but he really willed this thing into existence. That kind of creative ambition is some next level shit.
I fucking loved the show, so glad it got made.

Really cool how they had Jinx’s rig set up so they could switch between her “default” face and a more childlike one whenever they needed to evoke Powder more directly.
Looking back, there are a couple of moments that immediately spring to mind where this was probably used (to great effect) – Jinx’s introduction in episode 4 and her breakdown in Vi’s arms, for example.
