But the US isn’t only saying “good job sport. Keep up the good work”. It, and many other nations, are sending humanitarian aid and military support to Ukraine. Theyre just not sending their own troops to die in a war they don’t have to fight in.

Well yes and no. On the surface it seems like we’re treading lightly to avoid major conflict. Come on… really? The Us loves spreading freedom and blowing up foreign countries. It’s money, we make the best military equipment, it’s our no 1 export. If we flew in and destroyed the advancing troops no one would owe us money. Now think about the shear amount of “relief” we’ve been pumping out. They have to pay that debt, and Ukraine was already in debt.
I did this bit once at this open mic but I doubt I will tell this again since it’s not among my favorite jokes, but want to share it since it’s timely.
