I just picked it up on switch. I wanted to at least keep playing the side missions to get a house to store all my shit in. I finally got one, but I don’t know if it was during the main quest line or not. Now I’m taking a break from it because it suffers from RPG mediocrity of side quests that offer very little other than a little bit of money and some equipment to break down/sell and no other motivation. I think the Witcher 3 spoiled me.

I remember having a combo attack that involved using glaives and the lightning spell, but I haven’t played this masterpiece in so long I don’t remember it. It fuckin slapped though.

Wasn’t Kingdoms of Amalur a re-purposed MMO project that was turned into a single-player experience? There are some diamonds in the rough among the game’s questing content but trying to do everything is a huge time sink… Huuuuuge time sink. Stick to the stuff you’re pretty sure will give you permanent stat bonuses moving forward, and/or faction questlines.
