Alfonso joined the series in its third season when he would have been 13. He was famous for being on Broadway and a Pepsi commercial with Michael Jackson.
Alfonso basically replaced Jason Bateman who left for his own series.

After his pepsi commercial there was an urban legend he broke his neck doing a head spin on the hood of a truck. No internet, so this rumor was unchallenged and kept coming back for years. Anyone else remember hearing this?
