I’m so glad GT7 didn’t do that to us…
If they ever add a paid car dlc down the road the riot will be worse than it already has been I’d bet…
Haven’t touched a racing sim in years cause of this. Base sim/game 30 to 50 bucks, add on content (all cars and tracks or season pass prices) $100+. No thanks.
Rfactor and Assetto Corsa spoiled me with free mods.

Forza Horizon 4 & 5 both had hundreds of cars of all makes and models. Pretty much had every type of car accounted for and that was the base game.
I remember Test Drive Unlimited done these kind of things

I’m in no way buying any game in full price. I’ll wait for gold/goty/full edition and buy it cheaper elsewhere.
Plus: that’s exactly what EA is doing, releasing games with cut content to sell as “DLC”
