Loved this show. I have the progenitor – “Creepy Susie and 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children” in hardcover that I got Angus Oblong to sign at a Comic Con eons ago. He wore clown makeup so people didn’t know what his face actually looked like.

That show was way ahead of it’s time.

This show and God, The Devil, and Bob got cancelled way too soon.
I love the work of Angus oblong I have the entire series downloaded on my phone so I can watch it anytime.
I lived in california when this show came out. It was a perfect show for reflecting the class craziness that exists out there and the divide between the wealthy/pretty people and the poor ugly/gross people
Something about the way this show looks always made me feel very uncomfortable, don’t know why

I was thinking about this show the other day and how it’s an absolute fever dream.
This and 3 South on MTV were probably two of the funniest cartoons on tv when they came out.

Man if you were Canadian and a teenager in the early 2000s, the Detour on TeleToon was your late night ritual. The Oblongs, Clone High, Undergrads, Mission Hill, just all of the best adult animated comedies that only ever got 1 season. Wish they were more readily available on streaming.
Anita Bidet. Great character. A trans person who expresses herself as female…quite poorly…but despite obvious indicators that there’s fruit hanging from the tree, everyone just seems to ignore it.
