That was my first console (that I bought as a pseudo-adult). My brother still has it and it still works. After that, I got the Slim Halo Reach edition.

Out of curiosity, how was playing online at the time? Was it easy despite that Xbox Live cost money? I imagine it was probably not straightforward to bring this up to parents.
