There’s no rule that says a dog can’t play baseball BUT the rules say that in order to make a tag the ball must be “securely held within the fielder’s hand or glove.” Mouth don’t count. Not obstruction, because the fielder is in possession of the ball, but not an out yet. This play is still developing and the umpire should wait to make a call.
Little shit tried to stretch an infield hit into a double…. He had it coming. That’s just disrespectful.

I played cricket with a mate and his dog. If the dog caught you, you were out. You didn’t want to hit it anywhere near the dog because he would catch you every time. Great for if you managed to hit a six, you didn’t have to chase the ball, the dog would go and get it
