I work in Air Force uniform issue. When the hat was revealed, there was a collective WTF amongst everybody.

I’m an Officer in the British Army. My uniforms are made bespoke, by registered tailors. They therefore fit me properly and look decent.
That’s what I don’t get here. Fair enough, it’s a slightly odd uniform. But it doesn’t fit him in the slightest, and so looks like complete shit. Just having it properly tailored would make it look so, so much better.
No way is this fascist. The nazis wore the Hugo Boss Autumn ’39 Collection to war. Even the Italians, silly hats not withstanding, did better than this.
