Some of the original arcade versions of Street Fighter had a control scheme like this. Buttons were big and squishy.
Analog buttons, imagine all the horrible mechanics that games could introduce.
The Nintendo Gamecube controller basically did this for the shoulder buttons (not that it was hard to push them, but it measured how deep you pushed them), and some games made good use of this. Would like to see something like it return.
Finally, biceps for gamers.
FG button mashers: Allow us ladies and gents to demonstrate our POWER
The 360 controller already did this. It was used to butt bump in Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball.
So the PS2?
Also leaning side to side helps you evade/ maneuver better and leaning forward zooms in.
Best way to turn into pop-eye/ get carpel tunnel
Fun fact: there are no muscles in your fingers and so your fingers cannot gain strength through exercise. You’ll only get carpal tunnel syndrome if you work out your fingers.
(Your fingers move with tendons, no muscles)
Or just use VR.
Similar to how I used to play racing games on PC, that unconscious need to press the W (or arrow up) key harder in order to drive faster.
Most people don’t know but PS2 buttons had this feature. Most games didn’t use it.
I read a few chapters of a comic book, that your character was as fit as you are. So if you wanted your character to improve then you had to improve yourself
Ring fit adventure?
People that play shooters would cry
Just do pull ups you don’t have to do very many at all to be sore next day.
Google Street Fighter 1 Arcade original release. People would knee drop that shit.
What do you mean that’s all controllers
PS2 had this, such a fail comic and post.
I remember sucking at one of the launch rpg games that required smashing the buttons to hit harder because I rented it and had no instructions… when I figured it out insta-quit because that’s stupid
How do all you mouth breathers not know about this being a thing.
Bring back the KFConsole
The gaming console that would quickly give you carpal tunnel.
Fake picture.
Gamers dont drink whey
When VR rigs become the norm, gamers will be the most jacked people on the planet.
This would be the only time me going to the gym 6 days a week and barely playing video games would give me an advantage lol only for a little while probably, until all you guys figured out my attack patterns and just rolled through my swings lol.
Now i am pretty sure what game he is playing
Pressure sensitive controllers are a thing tho….
