I love this!!! This is how my 2 huskies and my cat play together it’s so funny! Except this is a much more fair fight…. they are much bigger than my cat. I’ve had my huskies for almost 3 years now. Almost a year ago, there was a really bad freeze and it snowed and the temp dropped to like 6 degrees out here in Texas!! I was walking around in the snow when I heard a kitten meowing very loudly during the snow storm on one of the coldest days, someone had left her food and water out, but her food bowl was empty and her water was frozen solid… finally another person walked by and confirmed the cat had been outside meowing since that morning and it was around 6 PM so I decided I’d take her home until the frost was over.. cuz she was not going to survive the night. The freeze lasted about 6 days after that and my dogs and her ended up becoming best friends. I often find them sleeping together on one of their dog beds.. I realized I lucked out and had found a pretty awesome cat, or maybe she realized if she didn’t get along with those dogs she’d have to go back outside? Idk either way, she’s taken on very dog like traits and I have to treat her just like the dogs. She will run up with them to greet me at the door, and when they get treats, she better be getting treats too..the dogs tried to eat her at first so that was a thing… but after some reprimanding and a very gradual reintroduction she quickly forgave them and they were friends by day 4. It really is something special to have a cat that doesn’t mind dogs in my opinion.
