This big air competition was a heater. Shout out to Su Yiming (Ming) emerging onto the snowboard scene out of nowhere and getting the silver in slopestyle and the gold big air. He also speaks English, Mandarin, and Japanese, so I can’t wait for him to become a big time ambassador for snowboarding. It was unfortunate for Mark to not land his tricks, but we saw an insane amount of 18s, the first every quad cork landed in Olympic competition from Chris Corning, and Marcus Kleveland pull out some steeze tricks in the face of all the triples and 18s. I’m glad he got his gold after slopestyle. Sad for Mark but he’s still a legend
