…gotta be honest with you, when I was a kid, my collections looked more like the PS4. It was only when I was able to get my own income did my game libraries grow.
The saddest part of this, is that half of the games in the last picture are Destiny
It was the opposite for me. I grew up in a poor country so I couldn’t afford games, but I started buying them once I became an adult with a job.
Nobody’s parents bought them that many video games did they? My games library has only gotten bigger as I get older.

Be fair and unbiased. The amount of time it takes to develop a modern ps5 game is wayyy longer and more tedious than some ps2 game. I hate that people expect the volume from ps2 to ps5. come on…

I don’t know how it was in other countries, but in Brazil for PS1 and PS2 it was possible to buy pirated games for $1~2 dollars and if you had a computer with two CD/DVD burners you could still make your own copy. Without internet validations, life was much easier.
I cannot be the only one that has a larger PS4 collection than a ps1 collection. I mean, growing up has done amazing things for my gaming. My parents always limited my gaming time which was dependent on my grades being stellar.
