Damn, now I want cookies.
haha I actually love when my cookies look all soggy like that
Brown butter elevates any chocolate chip cookie. Once you try it, you’ll never go back.
This guy was on point when he mentioned the texture of a refrigerated, slightly under cooked chocolate chip cookie. It’s magical.
I remember stumbling on this account. This guys chicken parmesan recipe has become my standard.

That was refreshingly succinct.
Is there a way I can see more of his videos? Also, it would be great if I could be notified if he ever makes more videos… unfortunately, I’m not sure how, because he didn’t say anything about that in his video. Shame.
Edit: a word
I would still measure the vanilla, especially extract. Is easy to put too much and it throws the flavor off.
Now this is content. straight to the point, quick, and clear. No filler talk and life stories like how other channels try to make the hosts more personable. Like you, give me the info I came here for, I’m not trying to make a friend.
When he’s saying broiling, is that the same as grilling in the oven?
“hey, what’s up youtube! thought i’d put together a video today because i actually have a better way to make cookies. i think we can all agree that cookies are delicious, but why is that? well the chemistry of the baking process….” – style of most youtubers
i’m sick of looking for video explanations and seeing 15+ minute videos for what is essentially 30 seconds of information.
this guy = g.o.a.t.
This is a man who knows what kind of cookies he likes.
I don’t understand.
How can I enjoy these cookies if I don’t have to go through a novel of how he spent his childhood at a lake by his grandmother’s house when she made these for him originally?
Also, hooray for Publix!
Love him. His cooking videos are extremely practical for the “everyday” man/woman
My favorite is his pizza one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzAk5wAImFQ
Reddit has really boosted this guy. I remember his pizza video got out here and it basically sent it into the stratosphere.
I appreciate his Alton Brown-esque style of speech.
So Broiling is just grilling? Y’know, I always thought it was something special like steaming whilst baking. Why do some people call it broiling?
Honest question: when did using “instantaneously” replace using “instantly”. It used to be two events had to occur at the same time to be “instantaneous”. But now, as far as I can tell, Instantly and instantaneously have become interchangeable.
Hi! I made this video! I’m glad you like it! I have a few more and I’m making a lot more! Please watch them! And if you make one of my recipes, POIDH!
