If it weren’t for the brass harmonies I would have assumed this was entirely improvised. Why would anybody do this intentionally?
As a prog rock fan for many years, I’ve only recently been getting into stuff like this and man alive, this was TIGHT! I’ve played in a number of bands over the years but never had this kind of synch with a group, every note felt improvised and intentional at the same time. Absolutely fantastic. Definitely checking out more of their stuff.
