Wow, I love her style. She looks beautiful here!
She looks like Brittany Murphy
Looks like. Elaine from Seinfeld
Her suit is gorgeous, need to find one like it for work.
She’d be a millionaire if she kept it.
you sure she liked it? seems on the fence about it
imagine being able to own an actual house in toronto
Her hairstyle and outfit are straight out of 1986. She was ahead of her time.
Exquisite…
A fiver well spent
That house is now worth eleventy million dollars.
She probably paid 30k for it. Worth 2.3 million now.
In 1985 my parents didn’t buy the property next to us on Sumach Street in Cabbagetown for the absurd amount of 40 thousand. My 95 year old Pops STILL talks about missing out on that one.
Nice! Was there a Great-Grandfather around at this time?
So THAT’S what our houses looked like before they became dilapidated overpriced wrecks…
Go figure, they actually looked nice.
Back in the day owning houses is actually possible *cries
Our first house is a $300k 1 bedroom shack with no running water. Had to bid 20% over asking
I want everyone to notice how young and how big that house is. Now look at what we have today 20-40 year olds having to share houses because none of us can afford homes anymore. I love it
5 years after the zoot suit riot and the transition into women being able to wear pants. That is a pretty big moment for women’s rights. It looks like the pants and a replacement jacket for the woman’s suit.
What street is that on?
1948 – Bought for probably $1500 and a handshake
2022 – Sold for $2.7 Million to a foreign investor with cash
Her outfit, hair, lipstick, everything! Gorg
The house probably cost $5+ million now lol.
A buddy of mine just bought an apartment in Toronto for $1.2 million. Insane prices now.
lovely!
being a millionaire in Toronto just means you own a house now
Back when you could buy a house in your 20s
Her mansion in Toronto that her husband bought working part time at the meat packing factory while they raised 3 kids and had 2 new cars.
2022 Toronto-. You should be happy for $20 an hour. This house is now worth 5.5 million dollars.
We can tell it’s her first ! She don’t even know what the fence is yet! Just kidding, great pic!
Reminds me of a blend of Geena Davis and Elaine from Seinfeld
Probably cost around $3,000.
Looks way more ahead of time in 1948
Imagine being able to earn minimum wage and being able to buy a house in like a year.
Those were the days.
