Story – it all started in 2010 when we were in Sears shopping for a Christmas gift for our mom. I was perusing a discount bin and found a 2009 Calendar of Extraordinary Chickens (yes, it was a year old) for 79 cents.
I laughed and said, “who the fuck would buy a year old calendar of chickens?!”
My brother went to a Calendar Club (who had no idea what he was talking about, until they found it on the shelf) and got the 2010 edition as a gift for me for Christmas.
The following year, I returned the favour and it has been ongoing ever since.
