kuhhnnnnnnnnnnnnigtgs!
Tis but a flesh wound…
On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot.
at first, I thought ‟Oh cool, a picture of real tepmlrs in the middle ages.” Then I realized how wrong and stupid I really am..
I shall taunt you again!
They’re either looking to form, or break up, an autonomous collective.
I guess it all depends how you feel about that moistened bint that through the scimitar at Arthur.
I categorize my friendships based upon whether or not you have seen this movie…
You can never rise above ‟acquaintance” if you’ven’t seen it…
NEE!
Run away!
She turned me into a newt.
Time to drop a random-ass factlet.
For the truer Monty python fans, do you remember that odd episode in the fourth season of Flying Circus where Michael Ellis is trying to get a refund for a pet ant? That episode was made from the first draft of Holy Grail. They were going to set King Arthur in a department store. Glad they thought better of it.

Oh, holy hand grenade…
I feel happy
Legendary 🔥🔥🔥
How nice that they managed to get a picture before brave Sir Robin bravely ran away.
Although I’m a big Monty Python fan, I must admit I wasn’t fully onboard with this movie.
Too bad they didn’t go with their original idea for Sir Galahad in the movie. Although, probably wouldn’t be the same if it was an R-rated film. Still easy to see there was nothing on under the shifts the women were wearing 🤣
Not a fan
I can always identify the outermost three; Chapman, Gilliam, and Cleese. But for the life of me the inner three all blend together in my mind. I know Idle’s in there… but which could he be?!?
I don’t see Robin’s musicians!
Come, Patsy!
HAMMOND!
You can tell that Graham just wants to bugger off and have a drink.
Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones co-directed this.
I always remember John Cleese talking about the two director’s styles saying something like “Gilliam was a genius who crafted beautiful visual landscapes over the course of a few days, and Jones was really good at capturing the joke on film.”
I fart in your general direction!
It’s only a model
Née!
John Cleese may be in fact the funniest sketch comedian to ever live. I have never seen a Monty Python bit where he gets on screen and I’m not peeing my pants.
Saved from almost certain temptation
As a history nerd, I always really loved the design for the armor for most of the knightly characters. Pretty decently accurate, except for maybe the helmets
I’m going to get downvote into hell for this.
I hated this movie
By the way which one’s Monty
Very unfunny though
Had a poster of this on my dorm room wall many years ago. I haven’t seen a whole lot of good pictures of all six of them together, especially in costume.
Apparently Graham was going back and forth between heavy drinking and withdrawal, and having a miserable time. I always think he looks kind of out of it in this pic.
Left to Right: Graham Somebody, A Fellow, A Shorter Fellow, Placeholder, John Cleese
Sitting: Terry Gilliam.
IDK
And that, my liege, is how we know the earth to be banana-shaped.

I wanted to see that movie so bad when it came out. It took until I was a teenager but I’ve made up for it.
