thats why i dont play that crap…
I have two words for you: PC indie
I love strategy games, so much that I don’t care spending a few hours just to understand how to play them. But what the mobile games industry turned them to be… It’s disgusting.
You see so many of those mobile anime games where they have these elaborate drawings with some fake UI on top of it making it seem like that’s the game. If you swipe over to the last of seven pictures it shows the actual gameplay and it looks like a Super Nintendo RPG (but not a good one).
That’s why I don’t play shit like that.
Thanks never seen this before
Mobile games are a blight on this land
Just got to use your imagination. 🥲
PC games do that too. The Alien game from Xbox showcase for example.
I could play a game that is only made of menu if the gameplay is good and most of all, if there is no micro transactions
Not pictured: Ad after ad after ad after ad. I recently tried mucking around with a couple little games on my Android phone, and it was just awful. For the love of all that is holy, I don’t understand how people can tolerate that shit.
I got a 100% don’t play games on phones policy. If a game is actually good it’ll be released on something else.
I don’t want a rdr game eating my phones battery life though, unless it’s on cloud.
That’s fairly typical for RTS games.
It’s getting worse. Many of the ads I’ve seen don’t even bother with decent animation now. There are some that have unbearably awful audio quality too. They don’t care about putting in the bare minimum effort in their ads now because they know they don’t have to try when they market their crap to children. As long as there are colours and the most bare-bones animation and sounds/music, that’s enough to get children to force their parents to spend money on these games.
Every time.
It’s true.
Hahahaha! That’s no mobile game, I see only 1 type of currency.
I don’t think this rule applies to just mobile games. It’s been a good rule of thumb since mmos exploded.
So they mirrored what video game covers looked like when console gaming was still new.
It will be worst. They are going to take the design straight from a popular game and slap it on their trailer
This is why I hate STR’s and MMORPG’s
Shoutout to super auto pets and… chess
And then they go and use footage from entirely different PC games for their trailer, saw one yesterday that used a clip of a 747 mod in Besiege for a game about flying a plane through a tunnel
There’s a total of like 5 mobile games remotely worth playing.
Close, not nearly enough predatory microtransactions
True
Just mobile games?
Nah dude. There’s got to be like three half naked women for it to be accurate
Surely they can be done for false advertising? You see the shit alllll the time
