well done!
Dynamic menus like that are always a little
Fun and interesting. Only things to look out for are the speed you can actually move through the menus (don’t want menu selection to be a chore), and test to see what issues can arise from switching menus too fast/frequently. Bug testing is an important part of any mechanic like this
good job
This is really cool! Is this a detective / noir style game? That’s the feeling it gives me watching the menu screen.
Slow down the beginning and end of the camera movements. Make the acceleration a fair bit more gradual than it currently is.
Also the camera turning into the building feels kinda jagged.
Maybe it’s the gif. But that’s what I would change based on what I saw.
Hey, looks good, really like the style, and this type of menu definitely makes it more interesting.
Love when games do menu’s like this!
Looks cool~ What kind of game is it and will it be release on steam? :3
Having Low/mid/high for screen resolution is wack.
Also, using sliders for stuff like the sound levels are an absolute must have.
Nice.
I’d probably move the logo up a bit so the ‘E’ in ‘Eye’ isn’t obscured kinda by the street light behind it. Or pronounce the ‘E’ more with graphical edits.
Dope
I remember Driver! It was super pretty too watch! Nice job!
I like the visuals and of dynamic menus. And this one is snappy enough that I don’t think I’d be annoyed with it. I’m reminded of dead space 2 I think? Which was dynamic, but pretty slow to navigate if I remember correctly.
Awesome concept! I don’t have a problem with the camera movements personally, but to me the only thing that seemed less polished was where the book came from. The level select was obviously the wall next to the TV but the book just kind of comes out of nowhere. Really cool design though!
Looks good.
Reminds me of the skate 2 menus
These kind of menus always make me happy
That is one super immersive menu, keep up the good work
Love the book for settings, but absolutely hate the font. That ‘M’ is the worst, but the “UI” is also un-good. The idea is great, but I think it would look better wit ha different handwriting font.
What type of game will this be? I like this though. Good job so far on the menu it’s pretty cool!
The t.v screen brings me back to cod when you could break out at the screen select and enter codes on the computer to play classic games. Nice nostalgia touch to me
Are you using Unreal or Unity? Or some other framework? Looks dope though. Nice going.
Very well done.
More of an accessibility point, but make sure to add a setting that changes the font of the book to something more readable as there may be those that may find it hard to read that.
Other than that, really nice looking menu screen.
I love main menu’s like this. If I were to change one thing, maybe the motion between each part of the menu screen like how it transitions from the street, to the TV, to the book, maybe that could be a bit smoother as in it should speed up and then as it gets to the TV or Book etc, It’s slows down. Keep it up tho it’s looking awesome!
All good but it is kinda difficult to read the book with that font, probably use some font that give you a pattern of any type machine.
Metal of Honour flashback
This is dope
Persona vibes at the first one
I would add some more highlighted points between the main screen and the sub screens, ike a light bulb or something you swing by, to convey the swing more clearly, as right now the swing to the right looks like a swing to black screen, then swing out of black to the book. So rather aim for a swing from TV to transitional lightbulb to book, and back. Makes for the viewer to keep better track of the space they’re in, and where they are in that space.
Bloody love it
It’s be fun if the pencil could animate and draw hashes where you move a volume or resolution slider.
Love it.
I love it. Also the groceries sign looks just like the one from “Clerks” quick stop groceries
I thought the font was a bit hard to read, but I think you just misspelled quality as qaulity 😀
I love these kind of menus! You did good!
I remember in Twisted Metal Black on the PS2, where it’d shift you along the carnage that was frozen in time. You got to even go through characters that are in place in middle of the chaos. It was awesome.
Reminds me of Twisted metal black
Looks good, hope it doesn’t take to long to cutscene myself to the option I want.
Also, you might stand out more if you aren’t the ten-thousandth game that’s “blood this, blood that, bloodity blood blood”. **Eye for Blood** into **Bloody Beginnings**? Feels very 1-note and like a trope a lot of people do.
