I don’t get it. Is this some sort of weird propaganda to make billionaires look funny and nice? Aren’t their so-called “charitable foundations” mostly tax shelters? Between The Morning Show and this it seems like Apple+ can be at bit out of touch with how they portray the wealthy. I’ll take the despicable rich from Succession, please.
Bland looking vanity streaming content by a big name with a short vague title in awful white font & blends in with everything else leaves no impression whatsoever throw it on the pile I guess.
It looks nice because of production values, but I don’t really see Maya Rudolph playing to her strengths, here.
A spoiled wife who suddenly has to show people that she is not spoiled is something Jane Krakowski could easily do. But I’d say this role is something right up Tina Fey’s alley, especially if the show has a political or social commentary edge to it
Like Mackenzie Scott, if she suddenly found herself to be among the top billionaires in the world, and she decides to behave differently than every other male billionaire, and she start’s rocking the boat and changing things and it causes other rich billionaires and people in power to get upset……..that would be an interesting premise for a show.
Making a tv show about ultra wealthy people in this political and economic climate? Maybe it will help give a visual representation of what people are fed up with. I’m going to reserve judgement until I actually see the show. Maya Rudolph is great and so is Adam Scott. Together it should make for a decent comedy at the very least.
I totally expect downvotes for the first bit of what I said. That’s fine, go right ahead. I probably deserve it.

Almost a year without MJ Rodriguez on TV was too long! Apple+ productions are truly the Crème de la crème in the world of streaming.
*Gimme the loot, gimme the loot (I’m a bad bad bad)* 🎶
Looks pretty good. I’ll give it a watch.
I will support Maya Rudolph no matter what, plus I love how bright this show looks.
What if MacKenzie Scott… *was a sitcom?*
Oh hey it’s that insanely expensive house with the crazy architect everyone was making fun of a while back.
Looks like great TV for soccer moms…
That looks pretty vomit inducing.
I’m very upset seeing Ben Wyatt as a cheater. This show is also from a Parks writer, Alan Yang.
Ah, the rich. I hate it. But I love it. I’m in.
This feels like after Ted Lasso they wanted another feel good comedy. I just hope there’s more comedy than this trailer showed.

Apple sure knows how to pick their shows, love it

Trailer didn’t really grab me, but I’ll give it a watch for Maya Rudolph and Adam Scott.
The world has been begging for a billionaire redemption story.
A beautiful location shot of the house completely ruined by the shitty Apple logo.

I was already interested in this, but I had no idea Adam Scott and Dylan Gelula were also in it so now I’m really excited.
