Elden ring is no better on ps5 than ps4-pro , If you wanna see what the system is capable of I’d reccomend forbidden west! Cheers

Same thing happened to me last year!
Walked in to the local Fred Meyer to buy groceries and supplies for camping and boom! 3 PS5s in the electronics section.
I finally able to nab one online at Walmart this Friday. come in March. Idk what I’m going to play first. I really only bought it to play God Of War Rag.

I’ve been trying to get a PS5 for so long, I’m definitely getting the new horizon forbidden west I’ll probably also try out elden ring

Start with Horizon, it’s more solid technically. Elden Ring needs a few patches maybe it’ll get a more solid framerate. It’s better on PS5 than the PC port though

Pick up Demon Souls as well. I’d hold off on Elden Ring. It needs a couple performance patches. Demon Souls looks amazing and is a blast to play.

I only have horizon forbidden west but it is quite enjoyable.
