I disagree with this. The more seriously Wrestling takes itself, the less interesting and entertaining it is.
Undertaker burying people alive, Undertaker crucifying people, Austin hitting McMahon with a bedpan, The Peoples Elbow, Big Boss Man stealing Big Shows Dad’s corpse in his coffin, Gangrel and the Brood, none of those moments we’re when wrestling was taking itself seriously. They’re the best moments we all remember.
