Oof. Just woke up over here in NZ. This isn’t a great start to the day.
This man is an absolute legend.
6 overs (36 balls), 4 runs, 2 wickets.
He’s turning 40 next month and gave an absolute masterclass in swing bowling in today’s match. Most pace bowlers retire before 35 due to the strain bowling at any serious pace puts on your body.
He’s been doing this professionally since 2002 (2000 in short format) and has just kept getting better.
Edit: good recovery on the 2nd catch from Bairstow. He looked amazed he got anywhere near it on the 2nd grab.
The debuting kid also had a fantastic spell.
Kiwi seamers also had a field day with the ball. A good day for pace bowling all round.
King of swing! No reason when you use him in short spells he can’t be as lethal as he’s always been. Spesh on home tests.
Shame England’s batting line-up is still woeful.
Get well soon Thorpey!!
Can someone translate/explain what happened in this video?
<Baseball, ‘Murican
It’s *like* it’s baseball…. But it’s not.
He’s Legend True Legend of Test Cricket I Love to watch Anderson and Stuart pair in Test Cricket.
I can’t remember seeing a Lords wicket so hostile to batsmen. Was a massacre out there, and it’ll get worse.
that was pretty hard to watch

Line and length consistently good expect a few.
So, how is it legal for the batter to block the wickets with his body like that? Also, what’s stopping the bowler from throwing at the batter in an attempt to hit the wicket?
I’m a bit worried about the make up test India has against England coming up….
I barely follow cricket anymore, but a swinging and seaming ball in test cricket is one of the most beautiful things in sports
Those swings are pretty orgasmic
Washed up, obviously. /s
The movement off the seam, the swing, makes some of these deliveries totally unplayable. Infact, had they not moved so much, they probably would’ve garnered more wickets. Add to the fact he is 40, incredible.
This is setting up for a great test, given the England collapse!
Oohhh Jimmy Jimmy…Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Anderson
That was amazing! >!No idea what happened or what I’m cheering for!<
Never makes sense no matter how much I watch it.
how do i watch full matches deliveries only
Isn’t this guy pitching a bit too close? I would hate getting smacked in the face because a guy throws from 20 feet away.
