In 2019, Netflix cancelled ‘The OA’ after two seasons. Since then there’s been a growing suspicion within the fanbase that it wasn’t *actually* cancelled. This theory has consumed my life, so I made a video to summarize everything, and to try and make sense of it all.

I’m sorry, what?
I assumed it was because it was really boring.
I didn’t like season 1 but I absolutely loved season 2. Was sad to see it go.
Holy shit this is sad
Give us a summary?

A lot of negativity in this thread OP, maybe better to post it in the OA sub. This sub thrives on venom and misery. Great analysis!
Lol what’s with all the mean replies
I remember seeing people say this at the time – always felt a bit more plausible for The OA than, like, “Apple Tree Yard is secretly more Sherlock” or whatever. Feels unlikely still but would be pretty cool if they did bring it back.
You might be on to something here, only I think that fan who went on hunger strike over the cancellation was weak willed to last only 13 days. As you point out, the number 37 is all important here, and she couldn’t even last half that.
I wish I’d thought of going nil by mouth outside Netflix HQ after Glow’s cancellation.
The OA was trash.
Anyway I see your fan obsession thing and raise reality:
