R-290 gang ya’ll
Every little bit helps.
As hank hill once said propane can be a dirty girl getting nasty up inside air conditioners I tell you whut
Yeah, when you see someone try to light a cigarette and the windows blow out, then you know they had a leak in the ac system.
0.09 in 80 years. Lol
Shhhhh don’t tell them how much temperature rise can be prevented if they stop burning anything
Propane is absolutely rising in cost since Feb 2021. It’s so high now we can only afford it twice a year and we’ll eat through most of that over winter.
I can’t imagine the cost to use it to cool as well
I guess he won’t have to kick Dale’s ass now!
Hank knew.
Hwhat*
That’s just what the government WANTS us to believe. – Dale
How is this supposed to be funny? What’s the joke?
Well what do you know….
0.09C seems small, but remember, for every gram of water you heat 1 degree, that’s 4.18 joules. 0.09C increase globally is likely more energy than the largest nuclear bomb ever.
Na I will stick on to 18 degrees
Temperate
Yea nothing like turning all a/c systems into compressed gas bombs…great idea! SMH
The problem with that idea is the same reason we stopped using ammonia: It’s goddamn dangerous. All it takes is a little leak and the whole system could violently explode.
And make fire departments work overtime. Going to need more taxes.
That number probably doesn’t take into account the amount of CO2 pumped into the air from all the building and house explosions that are bound to happen.
Y’know we used to track that stuff out of the ground for pennies on the dollar
Does this mean New York City won’t be under water by 2012?
Yes let’s make AC units that catch on fire or explode by using combustible gas under high pressure…. Because something-something-environment. Great call!
Hank is a gassman
Yup
Strickland Global Propane
build a big sun blocker to cool off the planet
as an HVAC tech I’m really not looking forward to having a restriction in the system and having to change a compressor or something and have a huge 4 ft flamethrower burn my whole face and neck. Yeah, you can cut the pipes but sometimes additional refrigerant is stored in the accumulator and I’ve seen some bursts of refrigerant come out 20 to 30 minutes after the system has been open. and yes we do recover it into tanks and those tanks get very hot.
Here comes the anti-frackers. You can’t make any one happy theses days lol
I was recently looking into purchasing a new window AC unit (the U shaped kind that the window closes down in the middle of, isolating the noisy compressor parts outside of the window) and it had a warning that stated it contained flammable refrigerant. Kinda surprised me, now I wonder if it was just propane.
Propane powered fire pit in the backyard that sees frequent use.
Am I doing my part, Hank?
Amazing tv show!
