For a moment I thought it spotted me too, but then it just went back to rollin in the dirt
I’m pretty sure he’s beeing eaten alive by fleas. We rescued a cat that acted exactly the same way before we got the fleas gone. They’re desperatly roling and biting to stop the fleas.
Looks like scrat just found the acorn jackpot. Tes I know fleas but it looks funnier the other way.

I’ve had squirrels eat fermented berries in my yard and do the same thing.
That squirrel got into a homeless guys stash and now has the privilege of tripping balls on a sunny day 😎

This is my test squirrel I use to test cocaine. I’m afraid of fentinal so I bring test rodents with me in order to make sure they don’t die before I try.
I’m guessing it was digging to bury some nuts in that patch of dirt and found some ants.
Not a time of its life… This little dude is a master in material arts drunking boxing…. Stay away, it might kill you in the fraction of a second
the ones in my back yard do this occasionally, sometimes in pairs. it’s not fleas or disease, it’s the zoomies!

Had a squirrel as pet for sometime after it fell from it’s nest as a baby. It’s not rabbies or parasites, they sometimes do this kind of movements for no reason

it might also be celebrating a massive W. my dog acts like this when his bath time is over.
So it’s an even split between fermented berries or just squirrel zoomies…. So either drunk or just a derp!
I came to see what affliction is affecting the squirrel. Reddit never disappoints when you’re expecting it.
Despite the armchair veterinarians’ assessment, I think the squirrel is just fine.
I believe that the squirrel is on an ant hill and “Anting” to remove parasites

Actually… that squirrel is infected with a rare brain parasite. The parasite can only reproduce in the stomach of hawks. So it makes the squirrel do this to get eaten. When ingested, the parasite reproduces in the gut of the hawk, hawk poops, squirrel root around and the cycle continues. I just made this up.
That is the red ant shuffle. I’ve done it.
This has some Gonads and Strife energy
I’ve always heard they have parasites under their skin when they do that. Happens every year in the warm months.
