there’s a WAY easier way to do this.
1. go into your barn and find an old have-a-heart trap, portable dog kennel, or some container with small holes. two pieces of plywood and some chicken wire will work too.
2. put the head in that container
3. put it outside
4. wait a few weeks
I’m no vegan hippie or anything but I think I’d just rather have a nice picture of a deer on my wall than chopping the head off one and putting up its skull as a decoration.
boiling makes it brittal, i dont agree with this “quick and easy” method
