The man’s a genius
Really fun drawing. You’re line work is very clean and shading very readable. I do have a couple critiques, if you like. Feel free to ignore
R2 is round and you’ve made the chair square, creating they proverbial round peg into a square hole. This obviously wouldn’t fit exactly, so you’d see gaps at the corners.
The perspective is also a little wonky. R2 is sort of in his leaned-back cruising position and were kinda of looking straight at him while the chair appears to be flat and level with the ground and we’re sorry of looking down on it. The way the two interact makes it apparent it’s a combination of two separate images.
R2’s panel gaps should be elliptical, not football shaped. Think of a stack of pancakes or coasters – not matter what point of view you look at it you’ll never see a corner, just more and more skinny ellipses.
Again, these are super nit-picky so please don’t think I’m here just trying to shit on your work. I genuinely enjoyed your sketch and can confidently say I can’t draw as well as you can., But I did just want to share in case you’re interested in making incremental improvements to your craft.
