    So, after getting 199 pigeons in GTA 4, I watched the video again. There was a scene where the YouTuber was toying with the pigeon before shooting it and that scene seemed new to me so I went to location. Sure enough, that was the pigeon I missed. Took me like 3 hours to find them all.

    This was me on Lost Odyssey, there’s an achievement for getting all treasures and I followed a guide to a Tee and still didn’t get it smh

    There was one game, can’t remember what it was, where there were a set of items, and the last of them was ONLY found in one side quest, and you had to open a chest BEFORE the last battle ended otherwise it automatically went to a cutscene and the quest would end, and you couldn’t repeat it, or explore the room.

    However, there was a cutscene before the last fight, which led right into the fight, and in order to open the chest you had to run across the room and disable the combat auto lock which would target the enemies and block access to the chest, BEFORE your companions killed all the other people in the room.

    Why? Just … Why?

    The hours Ive spent collecting feathers, riddler trophies, stars, clusters and selfies with South Park characters makes me think I could probably have developed my very own game in that time instead. Too bad Im ocd about cleaning up the map.

    Shoutout to those fucking games that had at least one collectible in some sort of “you can never go back to this spot, but also you’re being pushed down a slide/mountain and have .3 seconds to see the collectible and react to get it,” and by shoutout I mean fuck them.

    Aren’t there pieces of paper or something in GTA V? Found a collectible in the bottom of a pool in Trevor’s area and completely dismissed it as something I wanted to pursue in the game.

    Infamous had one of those blue shards right over the water on the map. so the blue circle that shows the close ones was pretty much invisible. Took me forever to fucking find that thing.

    I forgot one coin in the first Abbey mission and went back to get it… ended up restarting my game progress and had to go through Abbey’s missions again. I was on the island before that lol. Literally played her missions three times in a row. First play through, collectables play through, then the fuck up

    koroks are a terrible case of this. 900 of the fuckers and if you want something to help you need the DLC to get the korok mask (hero’s path also helps big time)

    if you managed to find all 900 without a guide and without DLC, you should send nintendo your therapy bill

    In GTA Vice city I was going through a guide to 100% the game. I was at like 96%. One day some friends came over so I saved, walked up to the console and turned it off mid-save without thinking. Corrupted my save file. I gave up on that game after that.
