For those who don’t know the game. Only the goal keeper is allowed to touch the ball while standing in the darker colored half circle. That is why the attacker jumps into the area and throws the ball just before he lands. That is also why the defender standing in the area moves away instead of trying to intercept the ball.

Had a pe teacher in high school back in the mid eighties that loved this sport, we’d play it at least once a week.
I would’ve liked to see a full speed replay of that because the way he threw it looks so unnatural I’d like to get an idea of how fast that ball went/how much it spun off the ground.
Played this game a lot during PE in highschool and honestly insanely fun. Good game to pick up too because at its core it’s probably as simple as it gets. Throw the ball in the other goal.
