Ridley makes movies with an amazing look and feel, but doesn’t seem to have a knack for selecting a good script. When he gets a good script, he makes amazing films, some of my favorites. But other times he picks a poor script, and we get a beautiful, atmospheric, but ultimately disappointing film.
I love ALIEN, but I gotta say that my favorite Ridley Scott Sci-Fi movie is “The Martian.” That movie is just perfect and hits all the right buttons.
