Theres rumors it may be going free-to-play. That’s how poorly it was received.
EA missed the mark on everything players had asked for. It had all the potential to make battlefield great again. But it fell short in almost every category while EA was trying to make a cheap ripoff of everything Battlefield used to be.

I dont buy a game until it is at least a year old and on sale. Otherwise you are paying money to be a bug tester. The exception to this is pantheon rise of the fallen mmo can’t wait for that to come out.

They completely trashed their niche in the market and tried to be call of duty. So yes, it’s that bad.
I would’ve never dreamed that DICE would turn into what they did. BF4 was the last great BF game that felt right to me & I loved the former ones (yes yes, I know you BF1 fans will reeee lol). I didn’t like BF1 as it just didn’t feel like a BF game to me but glad some of you like it and enjoy playing it. But, to see DICE fall so far from grace has been heartbreaking. They used to be beautiful, man. They refuse to make what their core base wants and so I walk away.

Tried to play it yesterday, and it’s just not good. I got it for cheap but I still regret it. Uninstalled it and will never go back.

i worked there many years ago and the place exploits its workers like it’s a sweat shop. meanwhile the CEO usually has one of the best salaries for a CEO in the area. It’s just a scam for HR to make a lot of money.
This is actually a pro move. Gamestop will give you $3, but if you donate it you can claim that donation at full retail price on your taxes.
