You are going to enjoy it. Although in my opinion not a real assassin creed story as the others, but the gameplay is a lot of fun. Have fun!!!!

My top 4 are AC 3, Black flag, Brotherhood, and Odyssey.
Once I went a con and a guy from ubisoft was making a presentation. After a question, the guy give you somethung of ubisoft. I asked him some question about assassin’s creed 2, he gave me a game from Rabbids for Wii. I never had the Wii to play it. 😂🤣
Try to use less fast travel as much as possible

Old-school Ubisoft games are verifiable proof that professional competency (ie. OG game devs that were all true, super-smart “nerds”) got chased out of the gaming industry by woke, useless idiots (current devs).
Reason might just be you didn’t have to install 360 games. But have fun with it.
I swear man, Black flag is something else.
It just really mixes things like pirates and assassins in a perfect mix. Not too repetitive, Collectives have good rewards and you can go both pirate style or assassin. It’s your own choice also the character building is superb.

One of the best in AC series.
Story is kinda crap, some story mission is a bit disappointing (i wanna trailing mission sucked but i just play RDR2 which may lost a third of its play time if the trailing mission gone). but the rest of the Gameplay is pure fun.
Somewhat spiritual successor to Sid Meier Pirates. Sailing, raiding, pirating, diving, fishing, and paired with AC traversal+combat mechanic, it seriously fun.
I sincerely let down by Valhalla by thinking that it’ll be Blackflag 2.
Get ready to constantly be griped at for singing or humming sailing songs.

Play AC3, Black Flag and Rogue to get the full Kenway experience. Don’t worry about the gatekeepers, sure each one has some pros and cons against the others.

I feel like a lot of people didn’t play it. All the pirate stuff makes it better than any of the other AC games to me. Sail around, blast some ships, board it, take it, one of those forts is CRAZY and the boss ships are really fun.

Im envious that this is your first go around with Black Flag.
For some reason, it seems like a lot of people hated this ac, but it was personally SO GOOD in my opinion. My favorite one honestly. The whole pirate scene is perfect for an ac game imo. The ship combat, the parkour, the story, the characters, etc. All done well imo. Enjoy
