Back in 2021 I had started my LoZ journey with Ocarina of Time and fell in love immediately.. Got myself a Switch and played through Breath of the Wild and then decided to go back to the very beginning!

Awesome! Up next – Zelda II: The Adventure of Link… right? 👍
Time to do the second quest before moving on to the next game.
I keep seeing reminders that I have to finally give that game a go some time soon. How many hours did it take to beat for you?
It’s funny how anticlimactic that era of gaming was.
The End.
This game has aged insanely well. I could easily see this being made as a pixel art indie game in modern times. Can’t really say the same about most NES games (looking at you Metroid 1)
But did you beat it on the alternate world?
Now do the second quest 😉
Niiice
But did you beat it on playthrough two?
A Winner is You!
Just so you know, you can hide the bottom bar. It’s an option in the game select menu. Same goes for the other classic console emulators.
“Finally, peace returns to Hyrule”
Biggest lie in gaming history.
You still have the second quest to do.
zelda’s dress matches whichever tunic link has. if you complete the game with the blue ring, she’ll be in blue
did you playthrough twice and beat the Second Quest? You can name your character “Zelda” in character creation to start on Second Quest. It’s harder than First Quest
I remember beating this on a Saturday morning in the late 80s one day after my brother beat it.
30 years later, and there still is no peace.
Now it’s time for… the Second Quest!
If you really want to have fun, do the 3 heart challenge. /s
It is doable, though fun is subjective.
