I obviously know nothing about MMA, but why didn’t the guy on the bottom just throw himself back really hard and try to wriggle out just as he impacted the ground? I understand that if you’re on your back with a guy underneath you, it will be even easier for him to choke you, but doesn’t that seem like a risk worth taking in that situation?
