Cuban said last year that he hopes to move the Mavericks to a new arena that would be “in the middle of a resort and casino” this was planned for a while. Cuban is a total POS for this.
I think his investments in Dextreme Industries really put him in a terrible position where he had to sell off the Mavericks.
I wonder what Cuban’s up to.

My wild guess is that this transaction was preceded and precipitated by an under-the-table and behind-the-scenes agreement to sell the team to Saudi Arabia who seems to have made a sport of buying sports teams lately. Mark probably wouldn’t agree to attach his name to that, but he does love money.
