Barney Miller was absolutely brilliant. And the theme song still slaps today.
Good show. I heard is was one of the more realistic ones. Besides the fact they sent the detectives out to do non detective work sometimes.
As I get older I identify with fish. Just get through the day so I can go home lol

Recently rewatched seasons 3 and 4 of Barney Miller on Tubi. Excellent show. There’s very few ugly people on TV these days and every cop is a model. Not so back in these days. I can remember going to a kids birthday party in the late 70s and they got The Barney Miller board game!
Ooo, ooo, ooo … Capt. Miller.
Part of me wants a barney miller reboot but the smarter part of me knows that it would basically be Brooklyn 99 so its a bad idea.
