Shoplifters is one of the most beautiful and pure movies I’ve ever seen. I will want anything by Kore-eda-san now. His filmography is essentially perfect film after perfect film.
This trailer made me more emotional than most movies. Can’t wait to see it when it’s available here in The Netherlands, which is probably gonna be a while.
This should be way bigger on here than it is. Kore-eda directing Song Kang-Ho? Hell yeah. Everyone go watch Shoplifters at least, along with After Life and Still Walking.
Kore-eda sure loves his kids in bad “parental” situations. Probably be one of the best films to come out this year as is tradition.
I was gonna watch for IU and Kang Ho alone (and Joo Young is pretty good too) but reading the comments it sounds like the director is gonna be the icing on the cake for me:)
Love me some Kore-eda. And love me some Song Kang-ho. Probably my most anticipated movie of the year.
Does anyone know more about these baby boxes, and the baby box brokers? Is this a common issue in South Korea? I’ve never heard of anything like this before.
