You must have been a hard-core Pokemon fan… I so loved the first generation. It was my prime time with it (Pokemon Stadium made it even better).
My Game Boy color is the same color as the right one in the picture. I still have it & it still works.

Silver, on Gameboy Color, was the first time I played Pokemon, and to be honest I think it’s better than any Pokemon game Ive played since. Arceus was pretty cool though.

Put some backlit screens and usb batteries in them. The GBA in particular holds up really well if you bring it into the 21st century. They’re surprisingly easy to mod
