As someone who does this daily at work it’s true. Most of the time, no problem, but one random PC will brick 3 mobos when trying to do a bios update…
“All warfare is based” – Sun Tzu
That was during Sun Tzu’s days. We’ve come a long way.
These days, I update it as frequently as needed without batting an eye. If it fails, just recover it from a USB drive. Modern motherboards are great.
Joke’s on you, backup BIOS on many boards.
Dual bios goes brrr
This is why you gets a system with dual BIOS and a ups. Or learn to recover a bad flash.
Ahhh makes sense this is in gaming not Pcgaming, good motherboards actually make BIOS updates very easy these days. Just load it on a USB drive and go through the steps. Some motherboards even have a dual BIOS so if one crashes you can use a default backup.
I have a UPS and I still tighten a little when I hit that go button.
bro I’m already calling for god getting BIOS PLEASE RETROARCH JUST BOOT UP SA2 I HAVE DC BOOT BIN
