How much is your membership
For them a penny x 25 million of these in sales sales is 2.5 million profit.
Caught my bank doing this a penny here a penny there service charges.
Thank heaven, now you can afford cereal./s
haha, such a huge difference!
Oh wow please keep posting this shit.
You save a penny… sweet
Buy 399 boxes and get the 400th for free
I’d recommend people to track prices this November, black Friday prices are normal prices for a lot of shit, sometimes they increase the price right before so they can drop it back down to what it already was and pretend it’s on sale. You gotta do fuckin research these days to actually find sales
“Ha!!! 4 bucks non members!! Suck it, plebeians, I’m winning!!”
Nice. Lol
Well, it *is* optimum pricing, who are we to question it?
Genius 😂
When I worked at Toys R Us the secret of the Black Friday to Christmas sales was corporate would have all the items double in price and then have us put up sale signs that they were 50% for Christmas sale prices. You never saved any money but seeing those sale signs will have an effect on customers.
Every main retailer will do this always pay attention to prices before Black Friday and then after.
Galen Weston is pleased with the savings he’s offering for customers
Asians will still take it
Soooooo, you’re saying you pay for that grocery store membership?
You sure you’re not lying?
EA
We’re up to our necks with gloaters.
“Oh, can I come in for a gloat, they say.”
You’ll be rich! Rich beyond your wildest dreams!
better than some store that priced half the stuff above market price but “members” price is the normal msrp
I recently posted this on another thread, but this is what corporate did when I worked at a supermarket. The contract with the union had been re-negotiated to remove our blanket employee discount, in favor of one that only affected non-sale items. Once it went into effect, some of the most commonly purchased items in the store went on sale for <1%, much less than the 10% employee discount.
That’s cute, You should see what they cost in Australia.
Superstore is weird sometimes. The other day they had something on sale for
>$3.99 LIMIT 4
> ^after ^limit ^$3.29
never seen that one before
Reminds me of my REI find. $120 shoes on “clearance” for $119.90. Didn’t know clearance was $.10 off $120.
Electronic Arts pricing
Worked for a supermarket chain when they kicked their loyalty/rewards program into high gear. I got roped into helping do 1000s of price changes in one go. $5….then raised the price to $6…but now $5 with your loyalty card!
When sales tickets are printed, but aren’t given any “data” on what the new price is, it defaults to 1 cent off. I worked in a grocery store where this occasionally happened, and it was always funny
