member alien? Seriously though, I’m a bit disappointed that the movie seems to completely abandon the sort of philosophical mystery discovery that Prometheus at least tried to convey, to just make Alien(s) again. I’m really hoping that I’m wrong and that the marketing is just done that way to pull in the nostalgia bots, but treading the same story completely undermines any sense of overall mystery or intrigue.
“A can’t wait to watch another film where people land on a planet, investigate an abandoned ship, find some alien eggs, get raped by a face-hugger and then run around some corridors…oh, and there’s Micheal Fassbender, the robot. I guess he’s back now.
Is it a re-make of Prometheus? is it a prequel or a sequel? Maybe it’s a sequel reboot. Also know as a sea-boot. A soft sea-boot. Or is it a soft sequel, sea-boot, reboot prequel?”

Just nit picking, but I feel like “Hide” would have been better with the xenomorph and “Run” with the egg.
There is no need to hide from an egg. It is an egg. You simply run from the egg so you don’t get face raped by alien calamari. You do not hide in a closet because the egg will not chase you. The egg cannot move.
You run from a xenomorph as well, yes. But you also hide from a xenomorph. The xenomorph can chase you. That’s when you hide; when you’re too tired or scared or dumb to run.
Also it would have made more sense progression wise going from the egg to the xenomorph as opposed to retracing the steps.

New trailer debuts online tomorrow!
You can definitely tell they’re trying to recapture the spirit of the original. Here’s the [Alien (1979) poster](https://static.blankmaninc.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/alien-movie-poster-1979-1.jpg) for comparison.
I love when posters complement each other. Usually you get a really nice first poster followed by a rubbish “marketing team” poster.
Hopefully the final poster will say ‘fight’ and complete the “Run. Hide. Fight” circle
They have *really* been slaying with the marketing campaign for this movie

First poster was xenomorph and said “Run.” Now we have an Egg and “Hide.” What will the third be? I vote for Danny McBride and “Fuck.”

THIRD TEASER POSTER [REVEALED](http://imgur.com/PDczMD9)
This lined up perfectly with an image of a Space X capsule on my front page. Confused for a minute.
Hoping the movie borrowed some inspiration from Isolation.
I like the “less is more” approach they’re* taking with the posters. It gives it a retro feel to it.
The text say hide, but there is no point of hiding from an egg. Stay away from the egg the text should say.
I just want an Alien short about a crew that does things properly. Thus preventing any sort of disaster involving xenomorphs.

My gut is telling me this is going to be solid. Im talkin 87% on rotten tomatoes.
Kind of worried this is basically just a remake of the original Alien and will have the exact same plot.
Who the fuck chose that font?
I fixed the brightness and contrast, you can see what’s going on better [here](https://imgur.com/gallery/riVud)
Take that mega seed and put it waaaayy up your butthole Morty.
Two words: Prometheus. Okay, that was one word.

Still great marketing though.
