And the Bengals of course don’t use the timeout, making this the clinching play officially, as if that wasn’t already clear.
Matt Stafford actually won a Super Bowl.
Happy for OBJ as well.
Bengals continue to excel at losing the Super Bowl late in the 4th to a team from CA
Feel good story for both Aaron Donald and Matt Stafford. Great careers now topped off with a ring.
Can’t believe he got that throw out and within 5 yards of the receiver.
Fun game but I wish it wasn’t decided by that flag. I get the whole “makeup call” thing but with a minute left it just makes it seem like the refs decided the game and not the players.
Happy for Matt Stafford though, he has been an elite QB for a longgggg time and never really got the chance to prove it til this year.
Bengals are very young and very good. They way over achieved this year. If they get some offensive line help and defensive back depth they will be great for the next decade.
How many extra chances did the Rams get on the goal line? Was it 3 or 4. I forget. Not a fan of either team but that was bullshit what happened to the Bengals on that last drive.
Why run on third down there? Silly
Burrow had a shot.
I mean, imagine if that pass completed. I‘m surprised Burrow got that within meters of the receiver honestly…
Of course it was not a great pass, but Burrow was almost sacked and still managed to get the ball in a decent position for #34. Why the he’ll didn’t he dive for it? I’m pretty sure he could get the ball.
Why do I feel like no one is acknowledging Perine giving up on that ball? Is it just the camera angle? It looks like it almost hits his foot.
I still don’t understand this play call. They had 2 feet to go. Running game was working. Even a QB sneak. I don’t get putting the ball in the air in this situation.
Quinton Spain botched that hard. You can see Donald rush right pass #67.
Quinton Spain is a fuckin trashcan lol.
Donald should have been named the Super Bowl MVP. He took control of the game after the Rams gave up that touchdown to start the second half.
“I woulda caught it” – guy on his couch with dorritios breath
Imagine if 34 caught that tho
3rd and 1 or 2 and you run perine instead of Mixon? They did that on the first drive as well. Then when you’re struggling to protect burrows you go for a pass on 4th and 1 instead of running Mixon. Definitely coaching hosed that one
Why wasn’t minion used the play before that lol you needed 1 yard and went to a backup
The Bengals’ offensive line should be embarrassed. Seven sacks is just ridiculous.
Poor Joey B but glad to see Stafford finally get something good for his skills and efforts.
Burrow will be back. Greaet Superbowl.
The fact that the Bengals were able to make it to the Super Bowl with such a young team and virtually no o-line is nothing short of incredible. Can’t wait to see them next year with some decent players protecting Burrow.
Why does it look like 34 put in about 2% effort to catch that ball after his QB put it all out there to give him a chance.
If Donald retires and that ends up being his final play in the NFL, what a perfect ending that would be.
Best player on the field made the game clinching play
