For all those that are talking about the keeper being so far off the line, this is standard practice when your team are attacking at the other end of the pitch.
You have to imagine the scenario where the opposing forward doesn’t take the ball down do easily and instead the ball somehow makes its way too around the middle of the goalies half. He is then first to the ball and is able to clean up by making a forward pass or most likely a long ball back into the opposing box. I hope this makes sense, would obviously be far easier with a diagram.
No chance the keeper makes that save unless he’s right on his line there (which he shouldn’t be), and even then I have my doubts.

This is what football is all about. The excitement for scoring the winning goal, and that for “just another league game”. In the Netherlands, we can’t go to the stadium anymore because of covid restrictions, so anytime I can see fans celebrating in this way it makes me want to go to the stadium even more.
I don’t think people realize how hard it is to actually get that ball in the goal from that far. This is a top 50 goal of all time.
How does anyone comment on the keeper when that center half geta rolled like that? Dreadful, but the scorer still had a lot to do from there (even though he made it look easy).
